If you don’t follow trends from the Met Gala every year, you’re missing out. This event inspires some of the most jaw-dropping fashion looks sported by none other than Hollywood’s most elite. The Met Gala was first started in 1948 by Eleanor Lambert to raise money for the newly founded Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The Costume Institute exhibitions represent beauty and fashion trends, inspired by a mix of history and contemporary culture.


Anna Wintour has championed the Met Ball since 1995 with a Who’s Who of co-chairs who create the theme for the annual event.

  This year's exhibition is titled "Camp: Notes on Fashion," focusing on "how the elements of irony, humor, parody, pastiche, artifice, theatricality, and exaggeration are expressed in fashion." The Met Ball’s glam red carpet is the perfect pre-show runway for celebrities to show off their Gala ready outfits, each one aspiring to reach the fashion hall of fame.


It is one of fashion’s greatest moments to see this this A-list of models, actors and musicians appear in what is one of the most glamorous parties of the year.


But what is fashion without the perfect makeup application? Makeup Artists for Hollywood’s elite are ready to add Glitter & Glam to highlight the most daring fashion choices of their clients. From Jennifer Lopez’s glow perfected by long time makeup artist Scott Barnes to Sir John who creates the fierce looks touted by Queen Bey herself Beyonce.
