This year's exhibition is titled "Camp: Notes on Fashion," focusing on "how the elements of irony, humor, parody, pastiche, artifice, theatricality, and exaggeration are expressed in fashion." The Met Ball’s glam red carpet is the perfect pre-show runway for celebrities to show off their Gala ready outfits, each one aspiring to reach the fashion hall of fame.

With the inspiration we gained from the star-studded runways in Paris, we created a way for you to recreate the look, not with designer dresses, but makeup.  For fall, we are inspired by shades of maroon. To embody this look, we’ve turned to our diamond eyeshadows in iced amethyst and rose quartz, with hints of black onyx and gold dust.
